Dear Bowenians!

As a school, we have tried to live out one of our school’s value of Compassion with the Bowen Mettle Challenge and the Bowen 3M moves where we tried to help needy families in this trying time.

To keep the momentum going, the PE department’s last project for the year will be Bowen Walk for Rice 2020. This is a collaboration with South East Community Development (CDC) to inculcate a giving spirit among residents by participating in a simple activity such as walking and running. For every 300m walked or ran, NTUC will sponsor a bowl of rice to benefit 7000 vulnerable household in the South East District.

We know from the responses of the Bowen Mettle Challenge and the Bowen 3M moves that many of you live an active lifestyle so why not make it count for more. For those who are not so active, this is a great time to start. So, hesitate no more, click on the link below, and let us do our best to brighten up the year-end holidays for our fellow citizens. Campaign period is from 22nd October to 31st December 2020!

note:

• All submissions must include distance and time for verification purposes.

• It must be an intentional activity.

• Step trackers that collate daily steps should not be used.

• However, if the tracker can show a start/end time and distance covered, it is ok.

• Integrity at all times. This is a charitable event and we trust that everyone who participates contributes meaningfully.
