How do we make choices? 5 basic human needs that affect our everyday decisions
What does your ideal world look like? Our thoughts, feelings, actions and even our bodies are affected by the world around us and how it matches up to our quality world. Find out about the five basic human needs according to William Glasser, and how meeting these needs can lead to more positive experiences for yourself and your students!
Childlike Reasoning: Kohlberg’s Theory of Moral Development
While the Primary CCE syllabus states that Upper Secondary students are able to “uphold higher social commitments and show principled moral reasoning”, we might find that that’s often not the case. This might be because your students are still at a previous stage of moral reasoning. Find out more about Kohlberg’s influential theory of the different stages, so that you can find the best ways to get your moral messages across to them!
