Hello Foothill Foxes!
I am thrilled to be heading into my ninth year as the counselor at Foothill Elementary!
Just a little bit about me: I am originally from Darien, Connecticut, but I have called Colorado home for the past 10+ years. I attended Washington College on the Eastern Shore of Maryland for my undergraduate degree in Human Development, earning my K-6 Elementary Education Certification. While there, I was also a Division III student-athlete, playing both basketball and tennis.
Before transitioning to counseling, I spent 10 incredible years as a teacher. I’ve taught third, fourth, and fifth grades across Virginia, at The Hill School, and right here in Colorado for Denver Public Schools!
In 2018, I graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a Master’s Degree in School Counseling, and shortly after, I earned my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential through the state of Colorado. I currently live in downtown Denver with my sweet Basset Hound, Cassidy. 🐾 Woof-woof!
One of my absolute favorite roles in life is being an Auntie to two incredible little guys—Alex and Teddy—who live in Singapore! Whenever we adventure together, we love imaginative play, relaxing, collecting shells, and riding scooters. I also love heading down to Southwest Florida to visit my mom and dad.
Please feel free to stop by the counseling office and say, “Hi!” I am looking forward to another wonderful school year!
Go Foxes! 🦊💙
