Hello Foothill Foxes,
I am thrilled to be heading into my ninth year as the counselor at Foothill Elementary!
Just a little bit about me... I am originally from Darien, Connecticut, but have been in Colorado for the past 10+ years. I attended Washington College for undergrad in Human Development with an Elementary Education Certification K-6. I was also a student athlete playing Divion III basketball and tennis on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I was a teacher for 10 incredible years in Virginia, The Hill School, and here in Colorado for the Denver Public School System. I’ve taught third, fourth, and fifth grade!
I went to graduate school at the University of Colorado Denver and received a Master’s Degree in School Counseling in 2018 and my License Professional Counselor (LPC) credential through the state of Colorado shortly after. I live in downtown Denver with my sweet dog; Cassidy, a Basset Hound. 🐾 woof--woof!
One of my favorite parts of me is that I'm an auntie to two incredible little guys, Alex 4 and Teddy 2, who live in Singapore! We love imaginitive play, blowing bubbles to pop, collecting shells, and riding scooters as we adventure together. I also love to visit my parents in SW Florida!
Please stop by and say, “Hi!”
Go Foxes! 🦊💙
