Lesson Spotlight: I can "put myself in someone else's shoes"
In 2nd grade, "putting yourself in someone else's shoes" transitions from a simple concept to a functional social tool. At this stage, children are moving into the Self-Reflective Perspective-Taking stage, where they can finally imagine their own thoughts and actions from another person's point of view.
