Additional Meet Information

We will be running this Saturday on the Monarch Campus, running your top 6 girls and guys. We have a 2k loop that is set up on our campus that we will be running 2 and a half times. The loop is 70% soft surfaces and 30% concrete. I have attached a course map. The course will be marked with flags the entire way and is very easy for the runners to follow.

We will run two waves of 24 runners for both girls and guys, with 4 teams in each wave. Wave 1 of girls and guys will have Broomfield, Dakota Ridge, Fairview and Rock Canyon. Wave 2 of girls and guys will have Boulder, Centaurus, Fossil Ridge and Monarch. I believe our timer will be able to score each wave separately and the entire race collectively. First wave of girls will start at 8:00am, followed at 8:04 by the second wave. First wave of guys will start at 8:45, followed by the second wave at 8:48.

The start and finish areas will be restricted to Athletes, Coaches and Officials ONLY and will be both signed and roped off. Please make your parents aware that they will be asked to leave those areas, should they wander in! All athletes will have to have their masks up unless running or warming up/cooling down. Masks will be up on the start line, but can be removed once they are 25 or so meters into the race. Spectators are required to have masks to be on our campus, so please make your parents aware of this. Social distancing is also a requirement on our campus.
