2020 BHS Cross Country Season

Practice Procedures During COVID-19 Pandemic

  1. Starting on August 18, all student athletes MUST fill out daily check in form. You MUST complete this daily within the hour before practice times(you cannot check in the day before). Consider taping your thermometer to your door so you don't forget to check in before you leave your house. It is quick to fill out. If your answer to any of the questions is yes, you must stay home. Bookmark this link. You can access it on a computer, phone, tablet, etc.

  2. Arrive 5-10 minutes early with a mask on and keep on until coaches say it's ok to remove. You will not be required to wear a mask when running, however, you must pull it up when passing by anyone.

  3. Have at least one water bottle. Preferably 2. No refills available

  4. CHSAA competitors brochure, current physical, and newly updated BVSD permission slip all emailed to Jenni before your first practice.

  5. Make sure you use the restroom before you leave your house. There are emergency restrooms available at some locations.

  6. Maintain at least 6 feet of social distancing.

Air Quality Issues Due to Fires

Missing practice because of concern about the air quality is perfectly acceptable so long as you notify me. The air quality in Boulder has been hovering around 'unhealthy for sensitive groups.' If you do fall into that category I would like you to stay home. I'm trying tp monitor it. If it reaches a warning level for all groups we'll likely cancel practice due to lack of indoor options.
