Sociology

Sociology A Level offers an engaging and effective introduction to Sociology but is still suitable for students who have already gained a knowledge of the subject through studying the GCSE. . Students will learn the fundamentals of the subject and develop skills including critical analysis, independent thinking and research. The teaching of research methods, a topic that underpins the course, is delivered through classroom experiences and practical application. The course involves writing short answers as well as extended essays, showing knowledge and understanding, as well as demonstrating skills in application, analysis and evaluation.
