Biology

In our course, we learn how the cell surface membrane can truly control what enters and leaves a cell, how spindle fibres appear and disappear during cell division and begin to fully comprehend how life is possible!

Biology is, as one of the A-Level sciences, a facilitating A-Level, opening up a world of opportunities in biological degrees, biomedical, health and veterinary sciences, as well as in industry and research.

This A-Level complements chemistry and physics, as well as psychology and many other courses.

As with the other A-Level sciences, we follow the AQA curriculum, giving students a similar experience when studying more than one science and, therefore, reducing their overall workload.
