BTEC Music

Music has the ability to develop so many skills in students and at Bushey Meads School we feel that offering a BTEC music pathway allows us to develop all students who may have an interest in music but have not followed the typical GCSE route. At KS5 we have BTEC music sitting alongside A level music, so that all students can engage with this important subject. BTEC music is a very hands on approach to music creation, where students look at musical styles, performance and composition. We feel that this route is ideal for students who want to develop the more practical side of their music making, whilst also learning about the amazing music that has been written throughout the Twentieth Century.
