SATs week ran very smoothly in Year 6 - the children worked so hard and we are extremely proud of how focused they were in each test. They thoroughly deserved their film day on the Friday and a huge thank you to Burnt Oak Pals for the pizzas! This final week we have had some workshops to enrich our learning in Topic and other areas of the curriculum. The Drama workshop based on Ancient Greece was great fun and the children really enjoyed the games and activities. On the last day, the children put their Mathematical and technical skills to the test in a fantastic workshop building domes. In Science we have been finding out about the function of the heart and the circulatory system. We made some lovely Greek pots in art and enjoyed painting some Ancient Greek landscapes. 

We wish the children a well-earned break and look forward to seeing them again in Term 6.
