In Term 6, EYFS have been learning all about bugs and animals which they have loved! One of their favourite moments was a Creepy Claws visit, where they were able to learn about different types of animals such as lizards, hedgehogs and snakes. They were really brave and were able to pet the animals too! We have also been reading a range of books such as Bumblebear, Dear Zoo and the Giant Jam sandwich. In Nursery, the children have loved cooking activities where they have made pizza, honey cookies and bread rolls, which were really delicious. They have also been working really hard on writing their names! Reception children have been learning about tally charts and have been exploring for minibeasts in the outside area. They have also been going into the hall weekly for their PE lessons. In art, the children have been exploring a range of techniques and materials such as bubble wrap printing, and using spaghetti as 'yucky worms'! We are so proud of everyone's growth in confidence and achievements this year, and we wish everyone a happy summer holidays and all the best for their next step!Â
