These are resources you may want to use in your classroom for the first week or two of school, but are not required. It has a lot of lessons on things like morning routine, how to greet others, classroom expectations, and their environment which are longer than typical Morning Meeting lessons so there is no way to use it all. Pick and choose what works for you and your classroom in addition to week 1 lessons or just go right to the week 1 lessons. Click HERE for lesson demos for training if you need.

Learners will be able to describe Habits 1-4 and how they support learning, personal development, and positive classroom culture.
Week 2 | Review of Habits 5-8 (M2 L5-8)
Learners will be able to describe Habits 5-8 and how they support learning, personal development, and positive classroom culture.
Week 3 | 5 Core Paradigms, Paradigms & Principles (M3 L9-12)
Learners will be able to identify where paradigms come from and will determine how to use maximizing paradigms to respond to a situation.
Week 4 | Habit 1: Be Proactive, Perseverance (M4 L13-16)
Learners will be able to define perseverance and plan to demonstrate a growth mindset when they encounter difficult things.
Week 5 | Habit 1: Be Proactive, Recognizing Emotions (M6 L21-24)
Learners will be able to evaluate experiences to determine the intensity level of emotions and will practice choosing proactive responses.
Week 6 | Habit 1: Be Proactive, Regulating my Emotions (M7 L25-28)
Learners will be able to describe how to apply self-regulation strategies and The Pause Plan when they feel reactive.
Week 7 | Habit 1: Be Proactive, Proactive Language (M8 L29-32)
Learners will be able to develop proactive and reactive statements for a variety of scenarios and describe the impact of proactive and reactive statements on relationships.

Learners will be able to explore their personal vision and goal setting for their lives.

Learners will be able to plan to make choices that support their personal mission in and out of school.

Learners will be able to describe a long-term vision they have for their lives and a next step they can take to act on their dreams.

Learners will be able to describe how to build trust with others by making deposits into their Emotional Bank Accounts.

Learners will be able to describe the value of honesty and how talking straight with kindness can build trust in relationships.

Learners will be able to explain how thinking win-win helps to build good relationships and write a Win-Win Agreement.
Week 20 | Habit 4: Think Win-Win, Courage and Consideration (M22 L85-88)
Learners will work on building relationships by using courage and consideration.
Week 21 | Habit 4: Think Win-Win, Standing Up for Ourselves and Others (M23 L89-92)
Learners will be able to describe how to demonstrate courage and act as an upstander if they or someone else is mistreated.
