These are resources you may want to use in your classroom for the first week or two of school, but are not required. It has a lot of lessons on things like morning routine, how to greet others, classroom expectations, and their environment which are longer than typical Morning Meeting lessons so there is no way to use it all. Pick and choose what works for you and your classroom in addition to week 1 lessons or just go right to the week 1 lessons. Click HERE for lesson demos for training if you need.
Week 1 | Review of Habits 1-4 (M 1 L-1-4)
Learners will be able to describe Habits 1–4 and how they support learning, personal development, and positive classroom culture.
Week 2 | Review of Habits 5-8 (M2 L5-8)
Learners will be able to describe Habits 5–8 and how they will support learning, personal development, and positive classroom culture.
Week 3 | 5 Core Paradigms, Thinking about Thinking (M3 L9-12)
Learners will be able to define paradigms and identify how paradigms can maximize or limit growth.
Week 4 | Habit 1: Be Proactive, Growth Mindset (M4 L13-16)
Learners will be able to practice using phrases that align with a growth mindset.
Week 5 | Habit 1: Be Proactive, Recognizing My Emotions (M6 L21-24)
Learners will be able to notice and name emotions.
Week 6 | Habit 1: Be Proactive, Regulating My Emotions (M7 L25-28)
Learners will be able to use the pause plan to notice, name, and think about big emotions and will be able to design a classroom Pause Place.
Week 7 | Habit 1: Be Proactive, Circle of Control (M8 L29-32)
Learners will be able to identify the power of focusing on their Circle of Control using examples and a scenario from their own lives.
Week 8 | Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind, What Matters Most (M9 L33-36)
Learners will be able to describe their most important principles and discover how knowing their principles helps them Begin with the End in Mind.

Learners will be able to develop a personal mission statement that reflects things that matter most to them.
Week 10 | Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind, Living by my Mission Statement (M11 L41-44)
Learners will be able to align their choices and actions to their personal mission statement.
Week 11 | Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind, Accountability Partners (M17 L65-68)
Learners will be able to describe how to be a good Accountability Partner and will practice having helpful and supportive Accountability Partner conversations.
Week 12 | Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind, Building Character (M18 L69-72)
Learners will be able to describe character and how demonstrating character builds trust.
Week 13 | Habit 3: Put First Things First, Determining Big Rocks (M12 L45-48)
Learners will be able to identify personal and classroom Big Rocks and choose actions that align with their highest priorities.
Week 14 | Habit 3: Put First Things First, Planning Weekly (M13 L49-52)
Learners will be able to consider their personal and classroom Big Rocks to design a weekly plan and will reflect on the use of weekly plans in their lives.
Week 15 | Habit 3: Put First Things First, Getting and Staying Organized (M14 L53-56)
Learners will be able to describe how getting and staying organized helps them Put First Things First.
Week 16 | The 4 Disciplines of Execution, Learning About Goal Achievement (M15 L57-60)
Learners will be able to collaboratively write a Wildly Important Goal® and practice using The 4 Disciplines of Execution® with an example goal.
Week 17 | The 4 Disciplines of Execution, Achieving My Goals (M16 L61-64)
I can explain what goals are and the steps needed to accomplish a goal.
Week 18 | Trust and Emotional Bank Accounts, Delivering Quality Results (M19 L73-76)
Learners will be able to describe quality work and how delivering quality results builds trust in relationships.
Week 19 | Trust and Emotional Bank Accounts, Developing Relationships (M20 L77-80)
Learners will be able to describe how to build relationships with others through Emotional Bank Account deposits.
Week 20 | Habit 4: Think Win-Win (M21 L81-84)
Learners will be able to describe how to think with an Abundance Mentality and will practice creating Win-Win solutions.
Week 21 | Habit 4: Think Win-Win, Acting with Courage and Consideration (M22 L85-88)
Learners will be able to apply Think Win-Win by practicing courage and consideration, leading to a stronger classroom community and improved academic discourse.
Week 22 | Habit 4: Think Win-Win, Standing up For Others (M23 L89-92)
Learners will be able to describe what it means to be an upstander and how to respond if they are bullied or see another person being bullied.
Learners will be able to listen to others with their eyes, ears, body, and heart.
Learners will be able to practice respectfully seeking to be understood when disagreeing and providing feedback.
Learners will be able to practice seeking out opportunities to learn from and about others to increase engagement and community.
