Schoolcomms – School Gateway

 

As you will be aware, BGS is now using the Schoolcomms App “School Gateway” for texts and emails. It is quick and easy to setup all you need are your email address and mobile number that the school holds for you and download the app onto your smartphone. You will then receive text communications via the app. Please follow this link to register online or download the app on your phone. Please note you will only be able to register after your child has been admitted in September.

 

The School Gateway app can be used to receive text messages from the school. You can also monitor your child’s attendance, achievement and behaviour data.

Email

 

Increasingly we are using email as our primary means of communication to parents as we find it not only efficient but it also contributes towards our commitment to the DfE Framework for Sustainable Schools. We are looking to significantly reduce paper consumption at the school in the future and using emails to communicate with parents will help enable us to do this. If you have not given the school details of your email address, or your email address has changed, please contact the school on info@burnhamgrammar.org.uk, marking your email subject ‘Contact Details’.

 

If you need to email a specific member of staff (for example a subject teacher, form tutor or Head of House) please avoid copying in a number of staff members, wherever possible.   This will enable us to work more efficiently by avoiding multiple members of staff unnecessarily dealing with the same query.
