One option after you graduate high school is to join a branch of the U.S. Military. There are six branches: Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Space Force. Each branch has its own specific duties around the nation and requires different qualifications. You can sign up for the military at school (with a recruiter) or online. There are different benefits that the military offers after service, including free education, scholarships, and jobs/careers.

U.S. Army

This branch deals with training and defending the United States. It is a land dominant branch, but troops can be deployed to different areas around the world or moved around to different bases in the U.S..
