Hey! I’m Max Meserve and I’m one of your mentors this year. I’m a senior, I love acting, law, and all things French. I love to write, so if you want some advice on essays, I’m your guy! ¡Hablo Español!

Morgan White

Hi! My name is Morgan and I’m a senior at JBHS. In college I plan to major in sports medicine. I dream of being a NFL team physician one day. Cheerleading is my favorite sport and this is my second year as Burroughs varsity captain!

Jillian Kolb

Hey mentees, my name is Jillian, and I am a senior mentor this year! In a dream world, I plan to study architectural design at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and then transfer over to the University of Hawaii at Manoa to attain my DArch degree. In addition to my passion for design, I am a varsity athlete for three sports at JBHS, and plan on continuing one of these at the college level wherever I end up attending. Feel free to ask me any questions regarding the college application process or simply, how to get started! I am always here to help!

Natalie Castellanos

Hi my name is Natalie Castellanos and I am one of the 2023-2024 College Peer Mentors! I am currently in my last year of high school and preparing to head to college in a few short months. After high school, I am planning to go to a 4 year college to study pre-law. I will be attending classes starting Fall 2024 while also studying to take my CA Real Estate Exam in hopes to become a real estate attorney. Aside from academics, I enjoy volunteering for the school’s football team. I have been volunteering for almost 2 years and have accumulated about 100 community service hours.

Jesiah Licardo

Hey my name is Jesiah Licardo and I am a senior, a creative outreach commissioner for CPM, and the spirit commissioner for ASB. I plan on going to PCC with a major in either business administration or poli-sci with the hopes of becoming an immigration lawyer or a chef. I’ve played piano for about a decade now and love cooking and baking! I’m so excited to be YOUR CPM MENTOR THIS YEAR!!

Kelsey Funk

Hey guys! I'm Kelsey Funk and I’m a senior college peer mentor. I plan to attend a 4 year university and major in marketing. My favorite hobbies are hanging out with my friends, dancing, and listening to music. I can't wait to help you with all of your college needs!

Julius Ellington

My name is Julius and I’m a senior at John Burroughs High School. One of my dream schools is UC Santa Barbara but my goal after high school and college is to get into real estate. My favorite thing to do in my free time is play video games. .

Hi my name is Annie Cole and I’m a senior at Burroughs. After high school I hope to major in interior architecture at SDSU or at Endicott in Boston.

Cece Abbey

Hi! My name is Cece Abbey, and I’m a senior College Peer Mentor! I want to be a film editor, and my intended major is Film and Television Production. My dream school is NYU. In my free time, I love reading, roller skating, and traveling. I’m super excited to answer all of your post-secondary questions!!

Isabella Atienza

Hi! I’m Isabella Atienza and I am one of your senior college peer mentors. I would love to go to UCSD or USC to pursue my dream as a RN or advance into a higher position in healthcare. In my free time, I listen to music specifically and love to shop and style my outfits. I hope to have a great year!

Mia Antonio

Hi! My name is Mia Antonio. I’m currently a senior, and I’m one of the college peer mentors for this school year. After high school, I plan on attending a university, majoring in health and environmental science or psychology. I’m also in ASB and Medical Academy. Outside of school I Like watching movies, spending time with friends and family, dancing, and reading. I’m looking forward to helping you out with your college needs and concerns.

Isabella Galustians

Hey Bears! My name is Isabella Galustians and I am so excited to be one of your College Peer Mentors this year! Running is one of my biggest hobbies and I love being on the JBHS cross country and track teams. I'm a junior right now, but after high school I hope to go to UC Santa Cruz or UC San Diego and become a teacher. I look forward to helping everyone with their post-high school needs!

Hi! My name is Alisha Keawkingkeow, and I am a senior. I’ve been in CPM for two years, and love traveling. After high school, I hope to attend a UC or go out-of-state for college. I look forward to helping everyone this year!

After high school, I’m hoping to work in healthcare and possibly pursue a nursing career or anything related in the medical field. I’m excited to work with everyone!

Hi everyone! My name is Justine and I’m one of your Senior College Peer Mentors. I would love to go to UCSD and major in Psychology. I love driving my car and listening to music. My favorite artists are Daniel Caesar and Frank Ocean. I can’t wait to help all of you this year!

Hello! My name is Jenny Ha and I’m a senior and one of your college peer mentors! I love listening to music, hanging out with friends & family, and watching shows. Two colleges I’m applying to are UC San Diego and UC Irvine as a psychology major. I hope to help you through the application process!

Hi! I’m Isaac Hernandez, a senior at JBHS and my favorite hobby right now is playing volleyball! I think I want to apply to UCLA, UCSB, and UCSD. I plan on studying Psychology with a Pre-Med program, and I hope to get many people interested in college this year.

Elise Lazich

Hello Bears! My name is Elise Lazich. I’m a junior and a college peer mentor on the creative outreach committee. My post-high school plans include getting accepted into a UC (preferably UCLA or UCSD) and pursuing either business or marketing. In my free time, I love to paint, journal, and play the piano. I can’t wait to help all of my mentees on their college journey!

Natalie Kesaryan

Hi my name is Natalie, I am a senior here at JBHS. After graduation, I plan on going to a community for 2 years and hopefully transferring to USC for their Dental Hygiene Program. Some of my dream colleges are either Pepperdine or USC. A fun fact about myself is that I am one of the Burroughs Varsity Cheer Captains. Another fun fact is, that I have started my own floral business at the young age of 17. I’m so excited to see what this year brings me!
