Barangay Balucuc
On April 8, 2024, a seminar on the Local Government Code of the Philippines was held for the “barangay tanods” of Barangay Balucuc, led by Mr. Rommel S. Pabustan, Ms. Maria Cristina S. Boton, and faculty members Mr. Michael Angelo Agustin and Mrs. Teresita G. Dela Cruz. Resource speakers Ms. Katherine Ann Tolentino and Mr. Bonifacio Esguerra Jr. aimed to enhance the participants' understanding and application of the code to empower them in serving their community effectively. The seminar covered key topics, including the roles and responsibilities of barangay tanods, community policing strategies, crisis management practices, and improving public service delivery. Interactive discussions allowed participants to engage with the speakers, seek clarifications, and share experiences, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Continuous monitoring and feedback will refine future training, with ongoing support from the speakers to ensure effective application of the code, demonstrating the commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Barangay Balucuc.
