Bachelor of Physical Education

Rationale

We need to revive physical activities that became somehow stagnant or minimal due to the pandemic. Through sports and healthy lifestyle, it must be cascaded by the Physical Education teachers to bring the hyperactivities of the students during pre-pandemic era. This will be done in two phases. With the help of technology, education will be delivered while utilizing modern devices such as LCD TVs to deliver a topic in an infographic way which students can easily relate with. Through those classes, dissemination will be easier since the presentation itself would be interactive, which would keep the class attentions for a longer period and would result in a better memory retention which was detailed in the study of Waller, Hill, Meyers, McCord and Gibson in their research entitled The Effect of Infographics on Recall of Information. The second would be the application wherein the Physical Education teachers will be putting the students into work as to what they have discussed. However, the teachers would refrain from having the students participate in sports but instead they will be involved in traditional games and gymnastics which is unlikely to be dominated by an individual or group of students. Thus, it would have better engagement from all of the students which in turn, will give a much desirable outcome. Third is the assessment or knowing the impact of the activities to the client so that the facilitator will evaluate if the implemented activity is helpful. Result will serve as an assistance to the facilitators and administrators to continue and also might be the aid for improvement of the program.
