BIndTech SKILL- (Service, Knowledge, Ingenuity, Literacy and Linkages)
Rationale
Products and prototypes from the Food Processing Technology, Automotive Technology, Drafting Technology, Computer Technology, Electrical Technology, and Electronics Technology at the Industrial Technology Department have been developed in recent years. Most of these items are grounded in research and die off after the presentation. Some became famous and received recognition at the collegiate and university levels where it was presented. Both the concept and prototype showed genuine promise in terms of practical application. An important area of CIT study is the development of novel products. Patent applications for new automobile prototypes are being processed right now at the IPOPHIL. Moreover, the campus makes use of electrical, drafting, electronic, and computer technology study.Â
Objectives
Proponents of the BIndTech SKILL Research and Extension Program based their proposal on this idea, which centers on service and innovation (Service, Knowledge, Ingenuity, Literacy, Linkages). As a result, the department’s research projects may be better utilized and recognized, increasing their value as an extension service to BulSU's stakeholders and as a sustainable livelihood program for the local and adjacent communities, as well as generating revenue through the sale of products/projects developed and the payment of expert faculty members and innovative student researchers for their services.
