Google Calendar is a time management tool that allows you to schedule events, appointments, and reminders. The "view" in Google Calendar refers to the way that your schedule is displayed on the screen. There are several different views available in Google Calendar:
Day View: Displays your schedule for a specific day, with each event shown as a block of time.
Week View: Displays your schedule for a week, with each day shown vertically.
Month View: Displays a monthly calendar, with events shown on the corresponding day.
Schedule View: Displays your schedule in a grid format, with each hour of the day shown horizontally and each day shown vertically.
4 Days View: Displays your schedule for the next four days, with each day shown vertically.
Agenda View: Displays a list of all your upcoming events and appointments, including the date and time, title, and location.
You can switch between these views by clicking on the view options in the left-side panel or by using the drop-down menu in the top right corner of the screen. Each view provides a different way to visualize your schedule, so you can choose the one that works best for you and your needs.
Google Calendar settings allow you to customize the way that your calendar works and looks. Some of the key settings that you can change include:
General: This section allows you to change the language and time zone, as well as the way that events and reminders are displayed.
Calendar: This section allows you to add, edit, and delete calendars, as well as change their settings, including the calendar color and notifications.
Event settings: This section allows you to control the default settings for new events, such as the default duration and whether events automatically show as busy or free.
Notifications: This section allows you to control the way that you receive notifications for events and reminders, including the type of notification (email, pop-up, or SMS), the time before an event, and the notification sound.
Integrations: This section allows you to connect Google Calendar to other Google services, such as Google Drive and Google Maps, as well as to other non-Google services.
To access the Google Calendar settings, click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen and select "Settings" from the drop-down menu. From there, you can navigate to the different sections and make changes as needed. You can also adjust the settings for individual calendars as needed.
