Dalawamput limang (25) kabataan ang lumahok sa 2026 Sustainable Hillyland Farming Technologies and Practices for Soil and Water Conservation and Management in Agriculture (SHiFT for SWaC Agriculture) Batch 2 na isinagawa ng DA-BSWM-National Soil and Water Resources Research and Development Center for Hillyland Pedo-Ecological Zone (NSWRRDC HILLPEZ) katuwang ang Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) ng Barangay Cuyambay noong ika-1 ng Agosto 2026 sa NSWRRDC HILLPEZ Conference Room sa Cuyambay, Tanay, Rizal.

Dalawampung (20) katutubong miyembro ng Samahang Tribu ng Dumagat/Remontado ng Brgy. San Andres (STDRBSA) ang nabigyang pagsasanay ng DA-Bureau of Soils and Water Management (BSWM) sa pangunguna ng National Soil and Water Resources Research and Development Center for Hillyland Pedo-Ecological Zone (NSWRRDC HILLPEZ) sa ilalim ng 2026 Sustainable Hillyland Farming Technologies and Practices for Soil and Water Conservation and Management for Agriculture (SHiFT for SWaC Agriculture) Batch 1. Isinagawa ang aktibidad noong Marso 31, 2026 sa NSWRRDC HILLPEZ Conference Room sa Brgy. Cuyambay, Tanay, Rizal.

Held at the NSWRRDC HILLPEZ Conference Room in Tanay, Rizal, the activity gathered 29 youth participants from Cuyambay National High School, Rizal Sports Academy, and the University of Rizal System–Tanay Campus. The training aimed to instill the importance of proper soil and water conservation in hillyland agricultural areas.

To mark the conclusion of their On-the-Job Training (OJT), the National Soil and Water Resources Research and Development Center for Hillyland Pedo-Ecological Zone (NSWRRDC HILLPEZ), held a Feedback Session for six (6) Bachelor of Science in Agriculture students majoring in Soil Science from the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) on August 7, 2025.

Held on March 20, 2025, at Tanay National High School (TaNaHiS), Sampaloc Rd, Tanay, Rizal, the activity was designed to raise awareness among the younger generation about the crucial role of soil in agriculture and the importance of proper soil management in ensuring food security and environmental sustainability.

The National Soil and Water Resources Research and Development Center for Hillyland Pedo-ecological Zone facilitated a comprehensive educational tour for the On-the-job training (OJT) students and Interns of the Summer Youth Internship Program (SYIP) on 4 and 5 July 2024.
