Community Partner Resources

Parent University is a collaborative effort of the Bozeman School District, THRIVE and the Bozeman Schools Foundation. We are happy to provide information and links to additional offerings provided by BPU partners and other community organizations supporting parents, caregivers and families.

Thrive’s Parent Education Offerings

Thrive and the Bozeman School District have enjoyed 30 years of collaborating to bring parenting information, support, and resources to the Bozeman community. Thrive currently offers these opportunities at no or low cost in a variety of ways:

One on One Parenting Support: Thrive offers free one on one parenting support, resources and education through their Parent Liaison, Partnership Project, and Parent Place programs. These services are available to all parents in the communities that we serve. Call us at 406-587-3840, or send an email to thrive@allthrive.org. Parenting with Love and Logic: Thrive’s Parent Liaisons present these multi-day workshops through all of the Bozeman Public Schools at different times throughout the school year. For more information on the content of these workshops, and for times and dates, click here.

Thriving Institute: Twice a year Thrive invites professionals from the community to present information on a variety of parenting topics. Past topics have included sleep issues, helping your child with anxiety, building resilience in our children, and teen issues. These presentations are free to the public.

Thriving Series Workshops: Thrive’s Parent Liaisons offer these workshops at the beginning of the school year in all Bozeman public schools to parents of incoming Kindergarteners, 6th graders, and 9th graders. These 1 hr workshops give parents information on engaging with their schools, supporting their child’s learning, give opportunities for parents to meet other parents, and give parenting and child development information. The contents of this presentation are strongly associated with student academic success. To contact your Parent Liaison or learn more about the Parent Liaison Program, click here.

Other Parent Education Classes and Opportunities: Our Parent Place programs are free and designed to provide parents with unique opportunities to enjoy parenting, enhance their skills as parents and meet other families in the community. These include Circle of Security Parenting Curriculum, and Early Childhood Love and Logic classes, Dynamite Dads, Gym Days, Summer Fun in the Park, and our resource library. For more information on these and other opportunities through Thrive, click here.

Newsletter: Thrive distributes a monthly newsletter to over 2,000 members of the Bozeman community, most of whom are parents. These contain parenting education information and information about parenting events in the community. To sign up for our monthly newsletter, click here.
