- Push filter inward and use handles to remove the filters. Spray down with water.
- Fill a sink or container with degreaser solution and soak filters.
2. Sponge the Hood

Clean hood using a sponge and degreaser solution.
3. Scrape Grease & Scrub Filters
3. Scrape Grease & Scrub Filters
- Scrape off grease into oil container.
- Scrub filters clean using a brush or Using a heavy duty sponge scrubber and degreaser solution. Ensure that the the workshifter is wearing gloves. Degreaser is great at degreasing objects, hands included.
4. Return Filter

Rinse, dry, and return to hood.
Request a special pick up from the WRC (recycle@bsc.coop) to remove oil water build up.
