Tools and Supplies:
·         Griddle scraper
·         Scotch-Brite griddle pad holder
·         Scotch-Brite polishing pad
·         Scotch-Brite griddle screen
·         Vegetable oil
·         Stainless steel cleaning chemical
·         Grill Brick (optional)
·         Cloth (optional)
·         Warm water
- Ensure grill is set to 450-500°, lower the temperature to 200°(Preheating Oven  takes Roughly 20 minutes) Scrape any debris from griddle. Cover with oil (vegetable preferably) and turn all burners on high and do not let oil run off.
- Once any grime starts to darken noticeably (but before it starts to smoke) turn off the burners. Clear Debris and carbon build up using Dough Cutter or Flat Grill scraper.
- Allow hot oil to cool (5-10 minutes).
- If desired, scrub griddle briefly with griddle brick to introduce the abrasive material onto the griddle (optional).
- Scrub the griddle using the griddle pad holder, griddle pad, and griddle screen together until silver.
- White vinegar may also be used as an alternative to oil, but make sure not to heat the griddle to about 200ºF.
- Make sure that the griddle top drain is free of grease and debris.
- Wipe down face plate and dials with degreaser and replace dials when dry
