Ctrl+PrtScn
By pressing Ctrl+PrtScn you capture an image of the entire screen, and then you can Ctrl+V or right click to paste the image into a word doc. If you have two monitors, it copies both monitors. So if you only need one monitor, you'll want to crop the image to only include the intended information.
Take a Photo with a SmartPhone
Smartphones make our lives so simple. You can often take a photo of the screen and text it to an email address (sounds super strange, but seriously, email it to yourself its awesome) or you can connect your phone to your computer like an external file storage source and download the image to your computer.
Snip Tool (Only available on PC Computers)
If you're using a PC (non mac computer) the easiest way is to click on the windows button on the lower left hand corner, and search through the list of applications to find "Windows Accessories" in Windows 10, or just "Accessories"
Then Click the down arrow and search for the snip tool icon
This tool allows you to drag a square shape around anything you want to capture as an image. One thing to note: If you're trying to capture menu options and the menu disappears when you click on the snip tool, do Ctrl +PrtScn to help.
