BELL RINGER: 5 A Day
CLASS WORK: Reading Anne Frank: Act 1. Scene 4 (page 730)
Today we will focus on reading scene 4 of the play. You will read scene act by yourself, or with a partner. This time around, you will focus your reading on the CONFLICTS happening in this scene
As you read, answer the following questions in your ELA notebook:
What are Anne's nightmares about? What does this say about her fears?
Which parent does Anne feel closer to? How do you know?
What are TWO kinds of conflict present in this scene? Describe the conflicts
When you've completed scene 4 and finished the reading questions, ask Ms. Hall to check it. If you are correct on all of them, move on to making your objective summary.
HOMEWORK: Finish reading, summary or TOD if you did not during class.
