Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) End-of-Year Process
As we close out the school year, it is essential that all students who participated in the Beginning-of-Year (BOY) assessment also complete the End-of-Year (EOY) assessment. Student growth can only be calculated when both data points are available, so teachers must ensure that no student with a BOY test is left without a corresponding EOY assessment.
Teachers are strongly encouraged to document and retain a copy of their own student data. Access to platforms may change or close over the summer, and having a personal copy ensures you can verify information as needed.
TIA Lead, Adrienne Horton, will compile the growth data over the summer and calculate each teacher's student growth percentage. In addition, TTESS average scores for Domains 2 and 3 will be gathered and used in the overall evaluation process. This compiled data will be shared with returning teachers in August.
At the beginning of the new school year, a BOY Stakeholder Meeting will be held. During this meeting, expectations for the year will be reviewed, and staff will have the opportunity to vote on any necessary adjustments to the system or raise stakeholder concerns to ensure fairness and validity.
As always, the goal of the Teacher Incentive Allotment is to recognize and reward educators who make measurable academic growth with their students.
2024-2025 Data Submission takes place in October 2025
