Multi-track recording for a variety of situations for intermediate to advanced users.
Our Audio Kit is designed around the Zoom M4 audio recorder. This audio recorder has two onboard mics suitable for field recording, events, interviews, voice over recordings, etc. It can also be used as an audio interface to record directly into your computer to be used as a USB mic.
For more advanced users the Zoom M4 also has two external dual XLR/1/4" inputs that can be used with other microphones or plugged directly into instruments for high-fidelity recording for up to 4 tracks of recording!
The zoom M4 is also a 32-bit float recorder, which is similar to capturing RAW in digital photography. It means that you can record without worrying about setting gain, because there is so much raw audio data captured, you can set your volume or gain in the post-editing process instead of worrying about it at the time of recording.
