The Brown University Faculty Leadership Program provides participants, known as Fellows, exposure to a comprehensive, cohort-based year-long leadership curriculum designed to equip new and emerging faculty leaders with the mindset and frameworks to lead in a range of contexts. The program runs from September through April, meeting for six content sessions in addition to an kickoff orientation and a closing reception. This program is most suitable for current or soon-to-be Chairs, Directors, DGSs, DUSs, and other part-time administrative leadership roles.

As we return to campus, there are likely a number of questions about what kinds of support will be available to faculty and departments, and what you may do as leaders to facilitate support for your unit after the tragic event of December 13. Acknowledging that the tailwinds of tragedy are long, unevenly experienced, and dynamic in their manifestations, we encourage you to take as much or as little as you and your unit may need from the offerings available to you. This digest contains a reminder of resources available to you that have been previously announced, and shares a few opportunities specific to your leadership role in your unit.
