This workshop offers a comprehensive view of how research, service, and teaching expectations change and will address the following:
What are the expectations for promotion to full professor?
How does the process differ from promotion to associate professor, and is there an "ideal time" to come up for promotion?
What mid-career decisions and experiences can enhance your record and increase your chances for promotion?
Faculty panelists include: David Badre, Professor and Chair of Cognitive and Psychological Sciences; Karen Fischer, Professor of the Geological Sciences and former TPAC member; Jennifer Nuzzo, Professor of Epidemiology and current TPAC member; and Gary Wessel, Professor of Biology and former TPAC member.
