At Brooklands Farm, we believe that there are three strands that underpin our educational model; the child, the parent and the teacher. Learning can take place; anytime, anywhere and by anyone. We must be flexible in order to ensure our children receive the best education that they possibly can, no matter what the circumstances.
Due to recent events, we must adapt how we deliver the curriculum and make sure that there is a robust plan in place in order to support all children and families in the event of any potential school closure. Can we take a moment to reassure our families that there is no need to panic, and to follow all government guidelines daily at www.gov.co.uk
It is our aim in Foundation to provide all of our wonderful grown-ups with some ideas to promote development throughout all areas of our curriculum whilst at home. Please remember that children in Early Years learn best through play and being active!
Remember, we are here for you every step of the way and relationships are immensely important to us. Please do not feel alone whilst at home, you can always connect with us; we are a family. We will keep in touch via Tapestry; please ensure you are receiving notifications and have access to this so that we may stay in touch. We would love to see lots of lovely posts about how the children are growing their learning at home.
