There are some ways in which you can help prepare yourself for the start of your course. Here are some tips to assist you.
Enrolment
When you start the course you will be sent your student card, student number and password. This will allow you the required access for the induction programme.
Software
We suggest that you have a Google Chrome browser installed onto any desktops, laptops of devices for ease of access to University sites.
Delivery of the Programme
During the COVID 19 pandemic you may be aware that the majority of universities in the country delivered teaching through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous online methods. We have now returned to our previous Face to Face mode of teaching. Online teaching will only be used where there is a clear advantage to the curriculum (e.g. outside speakers over Zoom). A copy of all sessions delivered this way will be made available on our Moodle site (which you will become familiar with once you start). All face to face sessions will be delivered at the Joel Joffe building. You will be informed of your group in due course. When in Joel Joffe for face to face delivery, you can choose to wear a face mask if you wish, and we advise you to take advantage of the hand gel and hand washing facilities provided across the site.
There may be rapid changes to teaching delivery in response to further outbreaks of COVID infections, but this will be in response to government guidance.
Start and End Times
Most morning sessions will start at 09.30. We endeavour to finish afternoon sessions by 16.30.
