The Digital Strategy 2023–2028 delivers clear benefits for Oxford Brookes University. It enhances student and staff experiences through seamless, reliable digital services and integrated systems, making information easier to access. The strategy boosts digital skills, supporting employability and academic success. Research is strengthened by improved collaboration tools and secure data management. Staff benefit from streamlined processes and targeted training, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
To develop the draft strategy we have consulted with staff across faculties and directorates, and students, through interviews, focus groups and a digital summit. These sessions have focused on understanding how digital is impacting the current experience and where it could improve the experience in the future. As part of this we also explored what each of the University’s four strategic pillars (Education & Enterprise, Research & Innovation, People and Culture, Partnership and Place), required from the digital environment.
