Board of Education

Bristol is a member of the Connecticut Association of Board's of Education (CABE). CABE represents nearly all boards of education across Connecticut. The Bristol Board of Education comprises elected citizens who work with our superintendents to provide the best education possible in their communities. Together, a well-organized, comprehensive, and usable manual of school board policies, administrative regulations, and bylaws has been developed. 

To perform its duties in an open and public manner and accordance with state law, the Bristol Board of Education holds regular business meetings on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the Bristol Board of Education building. Parents, students, and other community members are encouraged to attend.
