During quiet hours, children, tweens, and teens must remain with an adult and are not permitted to roam the grounds unsupervised. Cedar Ridge is home to on-site employees, and we ask all guests to be mindful and respectful of the shared spaces.

Saturday Night Mid-Level Event
Mid-level students come together for a fun event, chaperoned by supportive parents. The event celebrates new and outgoing students, providing an opportunity to socialize and enjoy snacks with friends.
This event a lively and inclusive gathering where participants can make memories, connect with peers, and celebrate their camp experience. Don't forget to bring your energy and enthusiasm for an unforgettable night!
River Activities
Step into the refreshing creek area and enjoy the fun of wading in the water while surrounded by nature. Feel free to explore the shallow areas, skip rocks, catch crawdads, or simply cool off. All young children and non-swimmers must be accompanied by their adult at the riverbanks to ensure safety. For those wanting to swim, a parent must be present to supervise.
Safety is a top priority, so everyone is asked to enjoy the creek responsibly—no throwing rocks, and always be mindful of others around you. The creek is the perfect spot to relax, explore, and create lasting memories with family and friends.
When the area closes for lunch at noon, it will be clearly marked as closed until it reopens later in the day.
Capture the Flag
Get ready for an exciting game of strategy, teamwork, and adventure!
The Setup: Teams are divided, territories are created, and a neutral zone (like a wooded area) is established. Each team hides a brightly colored flag within their territory, visible from 20 yards away.
The Goal: Sneak into the opposing team’s territory to find and capture their flag, all while avoiding being tagged. Once you grab the flag, race back to your side to win the game.
The Challenge: Watch out for opponents trying to catch you in their territory. If tagged, you’ll be sent to "jail" until a teammate can rescue you.
The Experience: Feel the thrill of sneaking across the border, working with your teammates to guard your flag, and rescuing captured friends from jail. It’s all about strategy, stealth, and quick thinking!
Will your team outsmart the opposition and claim victory? Find out in this fast-paced, action-packed game!
The Campfire
Each evening, as darkness falls, attendees gather around the campfire to enjoy its warmth and ambiance.
While s’mores are no longer an official activity, some parents bring supplies and supervise their children while making treats.
Occasionally, a guitar-playing parent may share music to add to the atmosphere.
After 10 PM, late-night attendees are welcome to stay at the fire, provided an adult is present to supervise and noise is kept to a reasonable level.
The last people to leave are responsible for ensuring the fire is completely extinguished.
A perfect way to unwind and connect during campout evenings!
Friday Evening Parent Mixer
