This is a semester course that is paired with Dollars and Sense.
Health Education is a semester long, high school credit (1/2 credit) course that provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to maintain health and wellness throughout their lifetime. The intent of this comprehensive health education program is to motivate students to improve their health, prevent disease, and avoid or reduce health related risk behavior. Topics covered in this course include: personal health, mental health, nutrition and fitness, drugs, alcohol & tobacco/vaping, first aid & CPR, sexual education, and the P.A.P.A. Program.
