The Brawley FFA Nominating Committee consisting of community members, former officers, and school supporting staff conduct interview in the Spring to fill the office team positions. Being an officer of the Brawley FFA Chapter is a privilege and comes through hard work. Nominees are scored on their application, involvement, interview, and campaign speech given to the chapter.
President
Connor is excited to serve as the 2025-2026 chapter president! He's an upcoming senior here at Brawley Union High School and a proud 4th year member. Connor loves hanging out with friends and family. He's looking forward to meeting and connecting with others, and hopes to spark an interest in FFA for his peers. Outside of FFA, he is part of the Varsity football and golf team here at Brawley Union High school. Connor is also part of the Imperial county Junior Fair Board.
Vice President
Audree will be our 2025-2026 Chapter Vice President and a proud 3rd year member here at Brawley Union High School! She is an upcoming junior and is always there to cheer people up. Her SAE project involves raising and showing a variety of animals not only for our local fair but year-round. As Vice President, Audree assists the President in leading the chapter, coordinates committee work, and helps ensure that all chapter activities run smoothly. Outside of FFA, she is part of the volleyball and track team here at Brawley Union High school. Audree also is serving as a proud member of the Imperial section team as Secretary.
Secretary
Aubrey will be our 2025-2026 Chapter Secretary here at Brawley Union High School! She is an upcoming junior and a 3rd year member. her SAE project is showing a breeding rabbit for the local fair. As Chapter Secretary, Aubrey is responsible for keeping accurate records and ensuring effective communication within the chapter. Outside of FFA, you’ll find her hitting the golf course, and hanging out with friends. Aubrey also is serving as a proud member of the Imperial section team as reporter.
Treasurer
Angelina is proud to be our 2025-2026 Chapter Treasurer here at Brawley Union High School! She is an upcoming senior and a 4th year member. Her SAE project involves showing a breeder rabbit for the local fair. As Chapter Treasurer, Angelina is responsible for managing the chapter’s finances and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Outside of FFA, she is part of Mock Trail, and class office. Angelina also serves as Treasure for Junior Elks and CSF.
Reporter
Mia will be our 2025-2026 chapter reporter! She's an upcoming senior here at Brawley Union High School and a 2nd-year FFA member, her SAE includes raising and showing meat rabbits for the local fair and Wildcat Wildflowers. As our Chapter Reporter, Mia is all about documenting and sharing our chapter’s achievements. She’s super excited to inspire others and grow as a leader. Outside of FFA, you’ll find her hanging out with friends, participating in class office, and baking.
Sentinel
Lily is the 2025-2026 chapter Sentinel and an upcoming senior here at Brawley Union High School. She's a proud 4th year FFA member. As Sentinel, Lily will ensure our meetings run smoothly and will make sure everyone feels welcomed . Her SAE project involves showing pigs nationwide. Outside of FFA, she is part of the Varsity golf and track team here at Brawley Union High school. Lily is also part of the Imperial County Junior Fair board.
The Brawley FFA Leadership Team is selected each spring through a thorough process led by the Nominating Committee, which includes community members, former officers, and school staff. Candidates are evaluated on their application, chapter involvement and interview. Being part of the Brawley FFA Leadership Team is an honor that reflects a student’s dedication, leadership, and commitment to agriculture.
Student Advisor
Meet Emily, our 2025-2026 Student Advisor at Brawley Union High School! Emily is a senior and a 3rd year FFA member. Being part of FFA has helped her discover a passion for animals and inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She treasures the memories made through contests and friendships. Outside of FFA, Emily loves spending time with friends, working with her rabbit, and making the most of her senior year. We’re excited to have her on the team!
AET Coordinator
Meet Robert Perez, our 2025-2026 AET Coordinator at Brawley Union High School! Robert is a junior and a 3rd year FFA member stepping into this role for the first time. He is excited to help the chapter stay organized with their projects and looks forward to gaining leadership experience while supporting his fellow members. Taking on this position allows him to grow his skills and contribute to the chapter’s success. Robert’s enthusiasm shows his strong commitment to learning and serving in FFA. We’re excited to have him on the team!
Social Media Specialist
Meet Ivanna Gonzales, our 2025-2026 Social Media Specialist at Brawley Union High School! Ivanna is a junior and a 2nd-year FFA member. She’s a varsity cheerleader who loves cheering on her peers both on and off the field. Ivanna is passionate about sharing the achievements and activities of Brawley FFA through social media. Outside of FFA, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Ivanna plans to attend UC Davis to study Veterinary Medicine and pursue her love for animals. We’re excited to have her on the team!
CTE Ambassador
Meet Gia Garcia, our 2025-2026 CTE Ambassador at Brawley Union High School! Gia is a senior and a 3rd year FFA member. She loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys weightlifting, proudly hitting a 375 lb hip-thrust! Gia is passionate about working with animals and is currently developing her vet skills with hopes of becoming a vet technician. She’s thankful to FFA for helping her discover a future career she loves. As a senior, Gia is excited to make the most of her final year and create lasting memories. We’re excited to have her on the team!
Parliamentarian
Meet Mariely Ayala, our 2025-2026 Chapter Parliamentarian at Brawley Union High School! Mariely is a sophomore and 2nd year FFA member. Her SAE involves raising and showing Californian rabbits, she currently cares for seven! She also has fish and birds, and enjoys decorating their tanks. As Parliamentarian, she helps keep meetings organized and supports the leadership team. Outside of FFA, she plays JV and Varsity tennis and enjoys movie nights with her family. Mariely hopes to become a veterinarian, with UC Davis as her dream school. We're excited to have her on the team!
Chaplin
Meet Brently Ashurst, our 2025-2026 Chaplain at Brawley Union High School! Brently is a junior and a 3rd year FFA member. Her SAE projects include raising and showing pigs through FFA and 4-H. She is also involved in Junior Fair Board, helping to plan and organize fair events. Outside of FFA, Brently enjoys track, horseback riding, and spending time with family and friends. As Chaplain, she’s excited to encourage the chapter through faith and fellowship and looks forward to growing alongside her fellow members this year. We’re excited to have her on the team!
FM-Small Animal
Meet Kayzen Hickingbottom, our 2025-2026 Small Animal Farm Manager at Brawley Union High School! Kayzen is a senior and a 4th year FFA member. Her SAE projects include showing pygmy goats and chickens at the fair, as well as breeding chickens for the community. Outside of FFA, she’s active in 4-H, where she shows pigs, dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Kayzen is excited for the new year and ready to bring her passion for animals to the chapter. We're excited to have her on the team!
FM-Shop
Meet Brady Galindo, our 2025-2026 Shop Manager at Brawley Union High School! Brady is a junior and a 3rd year FFA member. He loves showing sheep and has competed all across the country with his family. Brady also enjoys fishing and hunting with his younger brother and spending time with family and friends. He’s on the Boys Varsity golf team and plans to attend Blinn Community College to join the livestock judging team before transferring to Texas A&M to study Agribusiness. We’re excited to have him on the team!
FM-Greenhouse
Meet Frances Rios, our 2025-2026 Greenhouse Manager at Brawley Union High School! Frances is a sophomore and a 2nd year FFA member. She has shown a rabbit and plans to show sheep, chickens, and a rabbit this year. Frances is excited to learn her role, develop leadership skills, support fellow members, and help keep the greenhouse organized while planting new flowers and making arrangements in her plant science class. Outside of FFA, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and has played the flute for four years, recently making it onto the drum line. Frances is excited for the year ahead and the opportunity to serve her chapter! We’re excited to have him on the team!
FM-Garden Bed
Meet Manuel Jaime, our 2025-2026 Garden Bed Manager at Brawley Union High School! Manuel is a senior and a 3rd year FFA member. His role includes supervising and supporting garden bed projects, tending to the garden, and maintaining a clean environment. Outside of FFA, Manuel enjoys practicing his musical instrument and spending time with family and friends. As he finishes his last year in agriculture, Manuel is committed to giving his best and staying on track. We’re excited to have him on the team!
FM-School Farm
Meet Rey Maldonado, our 2025-2026 School Farm Manager at Brawley Union High School! Rey is a junior and a 3rd year FFA member. His SAE project includes raising and showing a steer for the California Mid-Winter Fair. In his free time, Rey enjoys fishing and hanging out with friends. He looks forward to helping the chapter and supporting fellow members this year. We’re excited to have him on the team!
