About Us

Bracken High school is a public high school founded in 1981. Located in Brackendowns, Alberton, we aim to be an institution of excellence dedicated to producing responsible, well- rounded, and capable citizens. Bracken High school has a reputation for being amongst the top high schools in the province. The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation has consistently recognised Bracken High school being one of the top 100 schools in South Africa. Teaching and learning are based on our values: accountability, honesty, honour, integrity, kindness, respect, and tolerance.
