No identity would also loss of a culture and thus, they do not have contribution to the bigger community. Moreover, as posited by Dr. Neil D. David, the indigenous dialect of an Aeta tribe in Bataan is endangered, and potentially extinct due to cultural erosion as a result of acculturation and tribe’s assimilation with the lowlanders.
Impact
After the conduction of the proposed project beneficiaries are expected to:
• demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Magbukon culture and language
• use Magbukon language in daily conversation.
Along with the course of lesson presentation, project proponents would be able to:
• Document different language registers of beneficiaries as an offshoot to another
research.
