Fundations

Mrs. Elaine Mascall, Room 101

In Room 101, I teach reading/phonics using the Wilson Fundations early literacy program. Fundations is a research-based, multi-sensory, systematic K-3 program that teaches critical foundation literacy skills while making learning fun, engaging, and interactive. Students will learn how to decode (break down words by their sounds), encode (use letter/sounds to spell), and read high frequency words (called trick words).
