About Me

Hello! My name is Elaine Mascall and I am a first grade teacher at the Murphy School.

I consider myself a Bostonian, because, though I was born in Liberia, West Africa, I immigrated to the USA, Boston, MA when I was 12 years old. I love my rich culture, and I am proud to be Boston Strong!

I have been teaching grade one in Boston Public Schools for 26 years, all of those years at the Murphy School! I continue to enjoy working with Murphy families, and I am proud of the positve impact I have had on my students over the years. Learning is a continuum and I look forward to more growing and learning with you, as we build a strong Murphy community!
