Online Resources
All of the resources listed below are intended to support student learning during our time away from school. Feel free to pick and choose which activities to try, but we encourage you to try a variety to keep students’ skills strong!
ABC Mouse:
ABCmouse Early Learning Academy, Adventure Academy, and ReadingIQ are all literacy based sites that are offering free home access for students from districts that are currently closed. The code for free access was attached to the sheet you received from your child's teacher and it is valid for all 3 sites.
Freckle:
Freckle offers literacy, math, social studies and science activities for students. Our classes have both set up accounts, and students can login using the information provided on the sheet sent home by your child's teacher. Each student has their own set of math and literacy activities available to try out including comprehension, word work and a variety of math activities related to what we have been learning.
Vooks:
Students can listen to stories read aloud with animated illustrations. Each classroom has it’s own account. Use the login and password listed below for your classroom to begin hearing stories.

Storyline Online
Another site that offers books read aloud by well known figures. This is a completely free service and you only need to go straight to the website storylineonline.net
Reading A-Z
This site offers books that are both read aloud and for students to read themselves and answer comprehension questions about the stories they have read. Each student has their own login name and the books in their account are tailored to their current reading level. Some of you may have already received information on how to access these accounts, but you will find instructions on how to access your child’s specific account attached to the handout sent by your child's teacher.
BrainPopJr.
This site offers access to a variety of math, literacy, science and social studies activities. We have an account for our school. Just enter the username and password at https://jr.brainpop.com
