DONATE TO SUPPORT THE BONITA UNIFIED STUDENT AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

The Bonita Unified School District employs a team of social workers to support students and their families in an effort to ensure that all students can get to school every day and participate in the full range of programs and experiences offered by the district, and that they and their families have what they need to be safe and secure. Accomplishing these goals involves a system that allows us to respond quickly to student and family needs as they arise, covering everything from help with housing to finding a student a dress for prom. The most effective way that we have found to make this happen is through donation accounts funded by generous donors from our community. Although public education funding can be used for some of these expenses, public funds have limits on the types of expenses that are allowed, and can often take time to access. But when we have sufficient donation funds, we can meet many potential needs of students and their families quickly and efficiently.

We would love for you to join us as a Student and Family Assistance partner by donating to the program fund. All funds donated to this program directly support students and their families. If you would like to make a donation, get more information, or request a presentation on the program, please contact Mark Rodgers, Senior Director of Student Services for the Bonita Unified School District at rodgers@bonita.k12.ca.us or 909-971-8330, ext. 5320.
