This page is for specific event schedules so you know departure and arrival times as well as contest performance times and concert plans. We appreciate your patience as we try to communicate effectively. We are using "ParentSquare" to send reminders and updates.

8:55 Performance (Pike Aud, family may watch)

9:20ish Sightreading (family not allowed, per mshsaa rules)

After sight reading we load up and head back to BHS

Drury Jazz Fest Feb 28

1 pm Jazz 2 Perform for Judges

After clinic we load up and go eat then return home!

SBU Jazz Day, Thursday Feb 5th 2026

7:15am Arrive at SBU music bldg

We warmup on stage in the recital hall

8am Performance (family may attend)

Afterwards we may watch a band perform

10am Load bus and go eat, then return to BHS.

Please bring money (fast food)

Maple Leaf Marching Festival-Carthage HS

9:00am Call time to BHS

9:30 Depart for Carthage HS

11:30 Arrive

12:45 Warm up

1:10 At gate ready

1:15 __Prelim Performance

After performance, eat and watch other bands

4:15 Prelim Awards

All bands will be in finals, times are determined

by drawing after prelim awards

Perform finals run

Eat a booster snack or purchase concessions

(concessions on your own)

Watch other bands and enjoy the evening

Depart for home asap after finals awards ceremony

ETA Home is Midnight!!

BMS Band Concerts, Sunday afternoons (@HS Auditorium)

2 pm All students arrive (each group watches the other performances)

At 2:30pm 6th grade plays first, 7th grade sits together in the audience and trade places with 6th after they perform. 8th sits as well and trades with 7th after they perform. We respectfully ask that all students and parents stay for the whole concert to experience the full spectrum of our BMS band levels. The concert should be finished by 3:30pm.

Wind Ens/Jazz Band Concerts (@HS Auditorium)

If we have a concert on Sunday afternoons, call time is 2pm and performances begin at 2:30pm

If we have to use a week night, call time is 6:30pm and performances begin at 7pm

Valhalla Fest Oct 5, 2024

7:30 am- call time at BHS

8- Leave

9:15- arrive and set up camp

11- eat

12 pm- prepare for contest

12:55- Warm up

1:45 pm PERFORMANCE

Awards Ceremony 5pm

(If we make finals, everyone is expected to perform! We will order pizza!!)

If we do not make finals, we come home.

Parkview Jazz Fest 2024-Feb 17

8:30 am Call time to BHS

8:45 am Depart for Jazz Fest

9:45 am Arrive at Parkview Auditorium

10:15 Warm Up

10:45 Back Stage ready

11:00 Performance for judges

Short clinic afterwards

Load up and go eat

Return back home

2 pm ETA arrival at BHS

SBU Homecoming Parade 2023-Oct 7th

8:30am Call time, parking lot north of the water tower, across from FBC

Get ready and load empty cases and bags on to trailers

9:30 line up in parade block/music warm up

10 am Parade begins. We are entry #15

After parade we put everything away in trailers

Student pick up Est. 10:45am

Black Walnut Parade 2023

11am Arrive in uniform at BHS and Eat food provided by Boosters

12pm load and head to Stockton

1pm Arrive and unload at the middle school

2pm parade starts and we wait for our turn.

315ish Finish parade and put uniforms and instruments away (at Hammonds Products parking lot)

(Parents needing to check students out to prepare for the homecoming dance MUST sign our signout sheet)

4pm Awards ceremony

Eat and enjoy booths after ceremony (students bring money)

5:30 Load up and return home.

Drumline Camp 2023: May 15-19

Time: @3:15pm-5pm Place: BHS Band Room

Home Game Plan (Marching Band)

Arrive at SBU (Behind Pike Auditorium, across from the tennis courts) @ 5:30pm

Dress in uniform and get instrument ready or warmup (first game is new band t-shirt and shorts)

6:15 music warm up

6:40 march over to stadium

6:47 National Anthem/fight song

After pregame we will set instruments down (TBA) and all students will be SuperFans!!

Halftime Show when that time comes

After Halftime we will put instruments away and return to SuperFans
