The BHS Liberator Marching Band has a band camp prior to the start of school. They perform at all home football games and several local parades including the Black Walnut Parade in Stockton and the Maple Leaf Parade in Carthage. Parents are encouraged to join the Band Booster Club.
There is a financial obligation for marching shoes and gloves but that cost is offset by participation in annual fundraisers.
Owning an instrument is required, but some school owned marching instruments are available.

Monday- No early marching band rehearsal. If we have 2nd block band on Monday, rehearsal is 8-9:27am. The only Mondays we will have early band are: Sept 22, Sept 29, and Oct 13. That will help us prepare for the contests.
Tuesday-Friday Early band is 7-745 (breakfast break 745-8) On days we have 2nd block band, we will resume marching rehearsal 8-927am. If it is an "odd" day then all students will attend their 1st block class at 8am.
During concert band all rehearsals are during the regular 2nd block class period.
Guard Specialist Alyssa Packwood worked with our BMS/BHS students during the guard camp in April of 2022.
