Purchasing: See Procurement and Vendor Services (P2P) for general guidance including the Procure to Pay Decision Wizard to guide proper procedures for any purchase.
Account Segment Guidance-RRC - (link only useable by Boise State employees) Look up what account segment to use, preventing the need for corrections. Works often does not default to correct accounts.
Following are additional ways that you can purchase or that can be used to procure products/services using RRC funds if RRC admin are absent or you are not sure about compliance with state contracts.
Shared Services - centralized team of financial transaction experts (see SS Request Intake Form Job Aid)
Punchout Catalog in BroncoHub allows you to set up an order, which then routes to P2P for processing. OR use the Punchout Catalog to set up a purchase, then reassign to the RCA to check before processing.
Communication:
The Research and Creative Activities Communications Toolbox provides guidance on sharing research with the public.
Online Research Media: See Guidelines for RRC Photos & Videos from Animal Care Committee (access limited to Boise State employees).
Supervisor Resources - Basics, resource/service links, compensation and payroll links, training and development programs, employee relations, recommended readings
Project Manager - This resource includes scope and hiring information from the Center for Research and Creative Activity (CRCA). Project managers can be hired for one or all of your projects to assist with detailed operations as well as research support, paid from sponsored projects if scoped in the budget(s) or from your local funds.

Job Standards Listings - use this to determine Job Title/Type and Job Code for hires
Pay Ranges and Grades - use this to cross-reference with Job Codes to determine what jobs fit your planned pay rate

Bronco Hub Manager Self Service – Links to job aids approve/view HR actions, delegate approval authority, hire/rehire/add assignment, manage employee pay, manage time cards and absences (including time cards for recently separated employees), and make changes to employee assignments

Travel Authorizations:
Submit the Approval Workflow Maintenance form to update the designated approver(s).
Prior to the employee leaving the university, Designate New Supervisor(s) in Bronco Hub.
Do not submit Bronco Hub or Smartsheet transactions unless they will be fully approved by the employee's last day of work.
Notify RRC administration of your employee's last day so they know to submit an Employee Separation Form and expect the return of keys and equipment.

Support for Students - from the Dean of Students, includes the form to refer a student for outreach, handling student hospitalizations or death, and more

Student Driver Authorization Form - This form must be submitted for any non-employee student driving under the State of Idaho’s Automobile Rental Contract. A new form must be submitted for each trip/rental.
Authorized Volunteer Services Agreement Form - This form must be completed by students and sent to their home department (RRC or DBS) to keep on file if they are working on research during periods they are not employed by Boise State University, such as during the summer or all the time if a graduate fellow or paid through an outside entity. If driving university vehicles will be part of their responsibilities, this must be indicated in "Services Performed" to ensure university insurance coverage in the event of an accident/incident.
VPN Access Request - You need to submit this request for non-employee students (not employed by Boise State) who need VPN access (such as to remote in to the RRC desktop computer in RAPT 116)
