Our members understand how stressful and not fun standardize tests can be. They wanted to make sure our sophomores and juniors felt a little love and got a little boost of self confidence after the test. So, the Hope Squad hand wrote 1,000 positive notes, stuffed them in individual envelopes and made sure they were delivered to each and every test taker at the conclusion of the test.
The Hope Squad official invites you to:
See someone? Say something.
Walk through a door someone held open for you? Notice someone stop to help someone else pick up some papers they dropped? See someone offer a smile, a piece of gum, or a piece of candy to someone who needed it? Don't let random acts of kindness go unrecognized. Tell us what you saw and we will give that person the shoutout they deserve - because kindness benefits us all.
One message, one good vibe - at just the right moment - can change someone's day, someone's outlook... or maybe even their life. Help us paint rocks to spread kindness and good vibes through out our community this Kindness Week.
With this two day event, our Hope Squad team, wanted to spread happiness and positivity, as our community headed toward AP tests, finals, and the end of the year. On April 30th, we "showered" our community with positive message of happiness and joy. We passed out cards with these messages, and put them on student cars. In addition, we picketed the quad and neighboring streets, rallying for more joy and positivity in our lives. On May 1st, we passed out flowers (donated by the 17th and State Albertsons and Edwards Greenhouse) to Boise High students and staff to remind them how lucky we feel that they are a part of our Boise High community.
