As the end of every Inquiry Problem, I asked each of you to gather a copy of all of the work that you did for that problem - both individually and in your groups - and organize them. Now that organization should help with today's task.
You have a choice whether to turn your portfolio in digitally, on Google Classroom, or as a hard copy. If you are turning in a hard copy, please make sure you have printed out copies of any work you completed on the computer. If you are turning in your portfolio digitally, click on this template and insert your documents where you are directed:
When you have all your documents together, check that they are in this order:
1. Cover - * I will talk about this below*
2. Your initial thinking quick write from the beginning of this unit that answered the following questions: “What is your definition of smart?” "How does one become smart?" and “What does smart look like in action?” - if you can't find this document, think back to what you might have originally said and jot those ideas down.
3. Overall Unit Reflection - * I will talk about this below*
4. Problem #1 - Inquiry Cube Puzzle: thinking notes, proof (a copy of your group's), reflections
5. Problem #2 - What is this painting depicting?: SKUMs (both the Kinkade and Picasso SKUMs), you artist statement, reflections
6. Problem #3 - Latin verbs: 3 sheets total (your first individual, the group reflection, and your second individual), group hypothesis (a copy of your group's), reflections
7. Problem #4 - Portraits: x3, each with their reflections and a SKUM for the 3rd
Now that you have all of your work from this unit, we are going to concentrate on the reflection for this unit as a whole. During your reflection, you will be asked to look back and think about the work you have completed this past 2.5 weeks.
Overall Unit Reflections - Click on this form and answer each of the reflection questions. Be detailed and thoughtful. I am looking for a minimum of 1.5 pages of writing.
The cover for your portfolio needs to have the following elements:
A title that reflects the learning you did this unit. Don't name it "Sarah's Portfolio" tell me more than that.
A picture that reflects on of the takeaways from your overall unit reflection (you can draw this from Jamboard, paste a collage of images form the internet, whatever... just be creative)
Your full name and your period number.
That's it. Unit 0 is over. Turn in your portfolio on Google Classroom. This is a 100 point assignment. Don't skip it.
