9MTY will cover the design process in detail over the next 6 weeks. Each step below will be a step you need to take to complete the design process.
Start by creating either a Google Doc or a Google Slide. Make sure to name it '"YourName" Y9 Design Process'.

Click on the steps below for each lesson.
LESSON 1 - Choose what item you will design.
LESSON 2 - Create a set of requirements for the design.
LESSON 3 - Create your design to meet the requirements.
LESSON 4 - Choose all the materials that the design could be made from.
LESSON 5 - Research how the design can be made.
LESSON 6 - Create a safety analysis of the manufacturing process for your design.
LESSON 7 - Create a poster advertising your product.
When all 7 steps have been completed, double check your work. Share your completed work with me - cjs@boic.school.nz
Success Criteria -
Completed Slide or Google Doc containing all your work.
Each page / slide to contain one of the steps.
Full sentences, correct grammar and spelling.
A complete poster of the final design
